FUNDOR PRIVACY POLICY

Fundor (“Fundor”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) provides vending, micro-market, and AI-enabled business tools, including a custom chatbot and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) system accessed through fundor.ca and related services (“Services”).

This Privacy Policy explains:

  • What information we collect

  • How we use, store, and protect that information

  • How we use Google user data obtained through OAuth

  • Your rights and choices

2. Information We Collect

A. Information You Provide to Us

This includes:

  • Name, email address, phone number

  • Business contact information

  • Messages you submit through forms or the chatbot

B. Automatically Collected Information

When using our website, we may collect:

  • IP address

  • Browser type

  • Device information

  • Usage analytics (e.g., via Google Analytics)

C. Google User Data (OAuth Data)

If you connect Fundor to Google services using OAuth, we may request permission to access specific Google user data.
We only request the minimum data necessary to operate the Service.

Depending on your configuration, this may include:

  • Your Google email address (for authentication)

  • Your basic profile information (name, account ID)

  • Access to specific files chosen by you (if you enable Drive integration for document ingestion)

We do not request sensitive or restricted scopes unless explicitly necessary and approved by you.

3. How We Use Google User Data

We use Google user data only to provide the features you request and for no other purpose.

A. For Authentication

  • To verify your identity

  • To allow you to log into the Fundor system

  • To link your Google account to the Fundor AI/RAG agent if needed

B. For Google Drive File Access (If Enabled by You)

If you explicitly authorize Google Drive access, we may:

  • Read files you select

  • Process and embed the text for your RAG agent

  • Store vector embeddings securely in Pinecone or Fundor servers

We never access your entire Google Drive—only the files you choose.

4. How We Handle, Store, and Protect Data

A. Data Storage

  • Data is stored in secure Canadian or US-based cloud infrastructure (e.g., Google Cloud, Pinecone).

  • Vector embeddings may be stored for use in the RAG system.

  • Personally identifiable information (PII) is encrypted at rest and in transit.

B. Data Usage Restrictions

We do not:

  • Sell your data

  • Share your data with third parties for marketing

  • Use your Google data to train generalized AI or ML models

  • Use Google data beyond the limited purpose for which you granted access

We do not store your Google password or any authentication credentials.

C. Data Deletion

You may request full deletion of:

  • Your Fundor account

  • All embeddings generated from your data

  • Any Google user data stored by Fundor

5. How Long We Keep Data

We keep data only as long as necessary to:

  • Provide the service you requested

  • Comply with Canadian legal obligations

  • Maintain security or fraud prevention

RAG embeddings are deleted on request.

6. Sharing Your Information

We may share limited data only with:

  • Cloud hosting providers (e.g., Google Cloud)

  • Pinecone (for vector storage)

  • n8n automation systems if explicitly integrated by you

No other third parties receive your Google data.

We do not share Google user data with advertisers, analytics companies, or other external parties.

7. Children’s Privacy

Fundor does not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.

8. How to Revoke Access

Users may revoke Fundor’s access at any time by visiting:
https://myaccount.google.com/permissions

Once revoked:

  • Fundor can no longer access your data

  • You may request deletion of previously processed data

9. Security Practices

We use:

  • Encrypted transport (HTTPS/TLS)

  • Firewalls

  • Access control restrictions

  • Regular security reviews

  • Non-public API endpoints

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy at any time. Updates will be posted at:
